व्हाट्सएप जल्द ही आपको कई बड़े फीचर देने वाला है। WhatsApp के नए अपडेट में आपको अलवेज म्यूट, नई स्टोरेज यूआई, टूल्स और मीडिया गाइडलाइंस जैसे कई फीचर्स मिलेंगे। व्हाट्सएप के इन नए फीचर्स की टेस्टिंग फिलहाल बीटा वर्जन पर हो रही है जिसका वर्जन 2.20.201.10 है। बता दें कि इन फीचर्स की टेस्टिंग फिलहाल सिर्फ एंड्रॉयड के बीटा वर्जन पर हो रही है
WABetaInfo की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक व्हाट्सएप एंड्रॉयड 2.20.201.10 के बीटा वर्जन पर कई सारे फीचर्स देखे गए हैं जिनमें सबसे खास फीचर अलवेज म्यूट है। मौजूदा समय में किसी व्हाट्सएप ग्रुप या किसी नंबर को अधिकतम एक साल के लिए म्यूट किया जा सकता है, लेकिन नए अपडेट के बाद आप हमेशा के लिए म्यूट कर सकेंगे। नए अपडेट के बाद यूजर्स को स्टोरेज के इंटरफेस में कई सारे बदलाव देखने को मिलेंगे।
इसके अलावा नए अपडेट में मीडिया गाइडलाइंस नाम से भी एक फीचर आ रहा है जिसमें स्टिकर्स अलाइनमेंट और वीडियो, जिफ और इमेज के साथ टेक्स अपडेट करने का भी फीचर मिलेगा। साथ ही एक और फीचर आने वाला है जिसका नाम हाइडिंग वॉयस और वीडियो कॉल यानी अपने वीडियो या वॉयस कॉल को छिपाने का फीचर।
गौरतलब है कि पिछले महीने ही एक रिपोर्ट आई थी जिसमें कहा गया था कि WhatsApp एक ऐसे फीचर पर काम कर रहा है जिसके आने के बाद व्हाट्सएप के मैसेज अपने आप डिलीट हो जाएंगे। व्हाट्सएप ने इस फीचर को एक्सपायरिंग मीडिया (Expiring Media) नाम दिया है।
एक्सपायरिंग मीडिया फीचर के रोल आउट होने के बाद जैसे मैसेज भेजने वाला चैट बंद करेगा, वैसे ही इमेज, वीडियो और GIFs जैसी भेजी गई मीडिया फाइल डिलीट हो जाएंगी। व्हाट्सएप का यह फीचर एक्सपायरिंग मैसेज का ही एक हिस्सा है।

Media messages such as images, videos, and GIFs will be deleted once the expiring media feature rolls out, as the message sender closes the chat. This feature of WhatsApp is a part of the expiring message.
